Scout

"Why"
She screamed so loud it felt like her lungs were about to burst from the pressure. Her cries were drowned out by the rain thundering down.
All she wanted was an answer but all she found were lies, she knew no one on earth could tell her what she truly wanted to hear.
As she took one step forward she thought about what she was about to do, she couldn't do it anymore.
With her final breath she whispered,
"Sorry"
She stepped forward, the ground fell away underneath her.
